Flash 8 Video Wall

So heres the first sneeky peek at some Flash 8 stuff i’ve been playing with.

This uses an instance of the BitmapData object to take snapshots of the video. This BitmapData object is then copied 100 times to form the grid. When the original BitmapData object is updated with a new snapshot, all its copies are also updated. Wonderfull!!!

Video Wall

Hopefully Buster Rhymes won’t sue me!

very interresting but is it possible with more video ion the same wall?

    Hey mecaman

It began to slow down with lots more video in AS 2.0, but I would guess AS 3.0 would let you have a lot more videos due to its increased speed.

    Tink,
Do tou think it’s possible to had a dynamique choice of video.
One video play at 100% and in the same time behind, the wall video play the same video, i think the effect will be great! no?
And whan you change video, you change videowall….

Yep you could use a dynamic video. I’d be interested to see what you achieve.
