    My son is fourteen and has been home schooled since the third grade. Because he has not been bound to the ?structure? of the public school system, he’s had time to explore many many interests he’s had. While he’s not really into programming, he has been doing animation and graphic design for about three years now.

    I’m not sure if he will go to college but if he wants to, because of the steady rise in the number of home schooled kids, he’s even got the local community college offering him free college credit classes.
